My Vision Board

One of the Salesforce user groups had a vision board webinar earlier this week. It was the first user group meeting I have had the opportunity to attend in a good six months. It was good to see & communicate with others in the Salesforce industry again. I have missed that type of interaction since taking my new job last April. I plan to start going to user groups more often.

Some points of interest from the webinar are as follows:

  • A vision board is like a North Star. It is to guide you visually to where you want to go.
  • If you keep moving goals from year to year, ask yourself why the goal is important to you.
  • If stressed out, try the 4-7-8 breathing technique. Breathe in 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds & exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
  • What do you want for your future self? Think about where you want to be in your 70's or 80's then plan how you will get there.

I usually track my goals on my phone, but thought it would be interesting to explore a more visual technic. During the webinar, several tools were mentioned. I created the following vision board via Claude.ai:
