Flow Skills Challenge
I recently completed a Clicked Flow Skills challenge. It was a one-day event to write a complex flow. The requirements were provided 72 hours in advance, so we could complete the task before the presentation. On the day of the skills challenge, the participants presented their solutions. It was a great, low-key experience that I recommend anyone in the Salesforce ecosystem to participate in. I was able to acquire additional Flow-building skills & group presentation practice. I enjoyed the experience & look forward to attending more of Clicked's skill challenge events.
The next event that Clicked has that I plan to participate in is one for Lightning Web Components (LWC). Since I started a new job (future post coming soon!), I have spent less time working on PD1 studies & need to get back to it. The event is a "Shadow Session" type of event. This is where requirements are provided in advance, but you don't present them during the event. The instructor/speaker shows the attendees the solution & discusses various learning aspects.
I believe I have discovered the most effective way to make use of the Clicked events in my Salesforce journey. I have found that the team sprints, skills challenges, and shadow sessions are more relevant to me than the full quests. I'm grateful that I had the chance to try out all the different session types to determine which ones suit me best.
