Year in Review 2023
I was successful in accomplishing all my education & career goals that I set out to achieve in 2023. I unfortunately was not successful in achieving all my health goals. Here are the career goals that were completed:
- Started this blog!
- Drop volunteering for AFTDJ. I gave notice to leave my volunteering role in January & left completely in March. This freed me up to complete the rest of my goals & focus my time on other areas of my life.
- Accomplished Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification. I passed this exam on January 16.
- Obtained 4-star Salesforce Trailhead ranger rank. I completed this in February.
- Continued learning about Salesforce Flows. I completed a Udemy course & several video trainings. I feel more confident in Flow now, but plan to continue my studies of this topic as the feature is always being improved & enhanced.
- Signed up & participated in Salesforce mentor volunteering opportunities. I was able to participate in the last Salesforce Mentorship Circle program in July. I was able to mentor 9 mentees with my co-mentor partner for almost 2 months. Salesforce discontinued the program shortly after our mentorship circle ended.
- Accomplished Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certification. I passed this exam on September 4.
- Obtained 5-star Salesforce Trailhead ranger rank. I completed this in November.
- Completed Health Cloud Specialist superbadge. This is one I've been meaning to accomplish for the past few years! I finally got this superbadge successfully completed in November. It was well worth the time and effort as learned a great deal about Health Cloud.
- Completed RAD Women Part II course. I completed this in December to round out a great 2023 of Salesforce achievements!
For 2024, I plan to focus more on my health & wellbeing. I have narrowed my education & career goals to the following two goals:
- Achieve all-star ranger rank on Salesforce Trailhead.
- Accomplish Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification.
Yes, only two!
I would like to expand my skills more into the Salesforce development side. I am more confident in Apex after take RAD Women Part II course, but would like to further build those skills & expand into Lightning Web Components (LWC) more.
Here's to a productive, new year 2024! 🎉
