Mentorship Circle

Mentoring & coaching can help move a career forward by providing feedback & advice from someone more experienced than we are. In my life, I have had several mentors that have greatly influenced my life & pushed me in the right direction. I wouldn't be where I'm at today without my first career mentor, James Slutz. 

During my Salesforce career journey, I have tried the Salesforce Mentor program with unsuccessful results. The first one I had didn't even respond. The second one I had met with me one time then disappeared. I still would like to have a mentor related to Salesforce, but not sure if the Salesforce Mentor program is the best path to pursue after my experience with it. I did decide to give the mentor program another try, but from the other side; providing mentorship to others.

In July, I signed up to be a mentor under their Mentorship Circle program. I was partnered with another mentor to coach 9 mentees for 5 weeks. I am partnered with another Salesforce trailblazer that is more on the consulting side. He has been in the ecosystem since 2021. He is 7X certified: Associate, Administrator, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst, OmniStudio Consultant, Security & Privacy then Financial Services Cloud. He recently changed jobs to a new consulting firm & launched an Udemy course about OmniStudio Consultant certification exam. It has been great working with him on this endeavor. It has been an interesting experience so far. I enjoy teaching others & providing insight from what I've learned about Salesforce so far.
